Antique French Napoleon III era Tortoise Shell and Ostrich Feather fan.

Approx. 17 inches tall and 22 inches across when fully expanded.

Thought to be a fan for Mourning...Shell sticks are beautifully polished and all are in good condition.

Feathers are lush and fluffy with no smell.

From the bottom finger ring hangs a black tassel.

Very dramatic...Great to display.

Condition is very good with no chips or cracks. Everything is quite tight
