Hand painted porcelain miniature of a French courting scene- delicate, lighthearted depictions of classical divinities and well-dressed French shepherdesses. The back is also mother of pearl. Interior with a pale red silk moire. Excellent condition with no damage to the painting or the mother of pearl.
