Antique Giltwood Church Bracket/Base from France

Good Antique Condition –Rubs to gilding and wood, hole in top wooden shelf - Circa 1900

This antique giltwood church fragment features two cherubs faces  on a giltwood base, topped with a shorter shelf. The interiors of the shelf and base as well as the cherubs wings are water gilded over red bole. The cherubs’ faces are painted cream. This church architectural was most likely topped with a small pillar at some point in its history.
