	Antique Hand Stenciled Fireplace Bellows Antiques: Fireplace, Mantels
	A wonderful hand painted antique fireplace bellows circa 19c. They are of carved wood and hand stenciled with blue leather siding and trim and a brass nozzle at the end. The all brass nozzle has a wonderful early patina on it. Even though the one side of the bellows has really really suffered a lot of wear the back side which is flat is actually in very good condition. I love the color combinations of the blues, that old yellow (almost a mustard yellow), and reds – my suspicion is that this may be of Pennsylvania origin. Oddly enough the workings still work fine – this would be just a beautiful item to sit by your fireplace. I know there are collectors of these and I think it is just a stunning idea. I would even – if these belonged to me have the paint on the one side restored – I think it is well worth doing. It measures 18 ½” at longest x 7” at widest.
