	A stunning and rare American Brilliant Period cut glass trumpet bowl by T.G. Hawkes & Co. The sterling silver with a repousse design for such a piece had to be special-ordered through Black Star & Frost workshop in New York, rather than their Providence location. The glass design is intricately cut with flowers inside baskets and extraordinary work of the American Brilliant era. A bowl of such craftsmanship was produced for a member of the an elite few. Signed on the base but due to wear I am unable to get a picture of it but it can be seen with a loop. The bowl is 6" high. The at the top it measures 12" across, the base measures 4 1/2".
