Antique Italian Carved Walnut Bookcase

A very fine 19th century bookcase. Made of rich Italian walnut & hand carved .The surface patina is so rich & lustrous .The carvings are so spectacular & some are more that 1 3/8” high. It has two glass doors with a drawer below that is also carved, inside the drawer it has the name of the maker carved in  “E.del Girno-Napoli”.It just doesn’t get any better than this fine Italian furniture from the 1870’s.It measures 88” high x 51” across the top at the widest point (molding) 19 ½” deep .It has 4 adjustable shelves .It comes apart in sections for moving.
