Antique Italian Faience Mythological Hand Painted Urn

This is an impressive, and monumental Italian faïence urn, 19th Century. A double handle urn with Mythological semi-nude male sea-gods with coiling fish tails in place of legs. Each is embracing the leaf handles to either side, it is entirely hand painted & glazed with rich hues of yellow and blue. The body of the urn has Greek scenes of chariots, cupids & lions all around a river bank with lush landscapes to the background. Truly has so much character and is in excellent condition!
