This antique Italian writing desk has a single drawer, it is made of European oak, and it is in good antique condition –Slightly Visible Old Watermark Circles to Top– Circa 1900

This antique Italian writing desk has wonderful carvings of lions’ heads, winged cherubs’ faces and scrolling acanthus leaves on its apron. The legs are simple baluster shapes and rest upon an H stretcher.

A versatile piece, it could be used as a table for displaying accessories, a desk, or an end table alongside a piece of high-armed furniture.
