Antique Hand Painted Ivory miniature depicting a lovely lady dressed in period attire with beautiful pearls around her neck. The miniature is encased within a fine beveled glass and surrounded by rose gold, popular in the early 1800s. The interior and bottom of the box is Tortoise Shell from the early 1800s. Condition: Excellent with no damage to the miniature painting, a small hairline is noted to the ivory panel on the perimeter (bottom) of the box from age. Measurements: 2 1/2" across x 3/4" deep
