	Antique KPM Hand Painted Gilt Lidded Decanter, Signed Kunz Antiques: Pottery Porcelain
	Antique KPM (Königliche Porzellan Manufaktur) entirely hand painted figural lidded, signed decanter. A superb early 19th century KPM decanter with a hand painted scene depicting a Mother dressed in typical Roman attire and a winged child hovering over. Exceptional attention to the detailed painting and superb raised gilding surrounding the cartouche. The decanter is embellished with raised gold hand applied foliage, birds and scrolls on cobalt ground to the sides, the back and lid. The lid equally beautiful with a fine figural gilded rose fineal. In immaculate condition with no loss to the fine painting and the gilding is 99.9% intact, no chips or repairs. Artist signed H. Kunz, lower right corner and under-glazed blue KPM, Berlin scepter mark to the underside.
