	Antique Papier Mache with painted lid Napoleon l Political Satire...Mouton. Box is approx. 3 1/2 inches in diameter and 1 inch tall. Fabulous painting with the word Mouton...French for a sheep meaning a stool pigeon. It is a head of a man on the body of a sheep with a background landscape. I do not recognize the face, though I am assuming ot was someone connected with the downfall of Napoleon. Either French or English...1820 - to 1840... Very good condition and painting is quite exceptional
