Antique Tortoise Shell Prayer Book, French Missal with its rich hues and distinctive transucent quality with gold-edged pages. The beautiful old tortoise shell is of in pristine condition, thick and fully intact. Decorated on the front with a gold, silver and abalone decore with a cartouche in the center. The letters are RBP. Inside is covered with a burgendy moire fabric and there are several chromolithograph illustrations throughout the bible. Two latches work perfectly.
