Cast and Hand Wrought Iron and Mixed Wood Frame – Good Antique Condition Commensurate with Age – Rusting to Iron; Weathering and Rubs to Wood – Circa 1850 or Older

Straight from Provence, this charming and versatile antique French Provencal  framed window gate was originally used as a shuttered window gate.  The shutter has  been removed at some point in its history;  however,  you could add a shutter of your choice, if desired.  These are also used as decorative architectural wall hangings;  or, by adding a pair of iron candleholders to the wood, they would make great wall sconces.  This French Provencal framed gate will add a touch of Provence to any decor.
