	Antique Rococo Gold Gilt Mirror Over Mantel Antiques: Mirrors
	This is a gorgeous, sophisticated and opulent 19th century rococo mirror. It is carved wood with gesso and gold gilt. Lavish foliate leaf carvings grace the crest. The mirror is in good condition having some minor age cracks here and there along with some wear to the gold across the base line. It is still wonderful and rich! It is the perfect size for over an Italianate marble mantle or a rich walnut or mahogany mantel as well. The mirror appears to be original. Overall it measures 59”h x 72”wide across the base and it is approx 4” deep (at the deepest section which is in the middle).
