	An antique Russian Icon, oil painting on board with silver mellower frame that is heavily chased in superior design. Dated from the 19th Century. Hallmarked with (BC) (1884) (84) (BH ?) (saint George). As far as I can tell this is made by the firm of Vasily Semyonov Moscow 1884. The condition is just great, it is rich & lustrous & the silver is in the original as found surface condition, Engraved title on the front. Measuring 12 ¼” x 10 ½”.This was the property of the Bangor Maine Theological Seminary.
