	Rare Antique Redware pottery plate from early 19th C. New England origin possibly either New Hampshire or Massachusetts. A most interesting unusual and elaborate design depicting a central motif of an X done in green and dark brown against an pumpkin orange glaze background. It has four iodine red / brown dots which surrounded by smaller dots. A wonderful addition for your Redware collection. Consistent with its age there is wear to surface as shown as well as some chips to edge and also has a chip on the underside of the plate. Itegrity is solid. It came from a very old Redware collection and it is my personal favorite. This is one of the many pieces of Redware we have available in our shop.
