Elegant sterling silver repousse and reticulated cut crystal inkwell- artistry as you will ever likely find. Inkwell attributed to the maker William Comyns, London, 1898. Sterling silver mount scallops and flowers motif, lid also having a pierced design and scalloped edging. The crystal base has a deeply cut starburst pattern that is reflected through the crystal, the combination making for an overall fantastic and sparkling display. Markings on the neck of the inkwell as well as the inside of the lid. Condition: Excellent Measurements: 4" dia x 2.5" high
