Antique Sterling Silver Enamled Card Case

An absolutely wonderful great vintage calling card case in sterling silver with a pointer dog that is all enameled on the top. It is a good size case with excellent weight it feels like it weighs about a pound. The enameling on the pointer dog is some what worn in spots and the grass under his feet was originally all with green enamel and most of that is missing also. Overall the case has some faint scratching just from wear. The hinge of the case is working very well it stays together nicely and opens easily. Inside it is marked sterling and it has a makers hallmark which is sort of indiscernible also with the numbers 2803 the interior of the card case is gold washed and heavily chased on the interior.
