	Antique English tortoise shell jewel box, caddy or glove box with sterling silver mounts. The hinged tortoiseshell lid is framed in silver rope trim and is inlaid with silver pique bouquet. It opens to reveal a rich maroon velvet interior. The silver box sits slightly elevated on four feet. Condition, sadly there is damage to the tortoiseshell on the lid, see enlarged images. Measurements, 10" by 5 1/2" by 3" height.
