There’s a lot going on with this and it is really a hard core Victorian designthat is so well thought out.The design just flowswith free form lines.This grate was probably used on a big Boston Brownstone .Not only is this a great & usefull element , it is also a work of art & I can see it used in many different applications. It is in very good condition being somewhat rusted. It has never been over painted or anything. Its sound and sturdy. It weighs a ton It is in very good condition, original as found with no breaks, and no damage Measures: 48"W x 43 ½"H
