Architectural Bronze Eagle Monumental

Here is absolutely outstanding architectural garden sculpture of an eagle on a tree branch.  This is a very exciting piece with immense detail.  It is in a typical Japanese style and it dates from the 19th century.  I hope you can see the exceptional detail on the head of the eagle and his fierce sharp talons.  The movement of this sculpture is bold yet flowing.  The bronze has built up over the years quite a desirable verde patina.  This monumental eagle measures 55” high with an outstanding 61” wing span.  Due to its fabulous size is very hard to capture the overall grandeur of the sculpture in a picture.  Hopefully the close-ups will give you a better idea of the magnificent craftsmanship that was done here.  It is suitable decoration for interior or exterior.
