Art Nouveau Double Inkwell

Circa 1900.  Art Nouveau double inkwell. Large and strikingly handsome, wonderfully three dimensional, ink set depicting a crouching lion moving through abundant flora. Gilt white metal, all original finish with a very nice patina, dark and bright hi-lights and original glass ink pots.  Very good over all condition the only flaw being the right hand hinge is no longer attached to the lid. This does not affect it's look at all.
