	Art Nouveau Japy Freres Brass Mantel Gothic Clock Antiques: Clocks, Timepieces
	A Large and impressive Antique French Gothic clock set by Japy Freres. The clock is beautifully made in gilt brass - very heavy and crisply modelled and much of the original gilding remains. The style is typical of French gothic, with lions masks, hairy paw feet and flowing foliage. The body of the clock is modelled as a niche embedded in the overgrown foliage. About 18" tall and 9" wide. Fantastic clock in excellent repair with pendulum key and running strong. Circa 1880. No damage or repairs to case.
