	Art Nouveau Water Fountain Maiden Antiques: Architectural
	A true Art Nouveau water fountain. It is assembled in three sections – you can see the beautiful maiden in a kneeling position holding a lily. The lily has the spout where the water would come out. The shapely bowl of the fountain has extremely bold movement. The bowl is incredibly carved as you can see in the picture which the maiden is kneeling on. There are remnants of a little bit of blue paint here and there and I suspect that that paint was originally – and yes of course naturally it is a little bit worn. The base of this fountain is bold and intricate and although it is not original it is made of a different material – cement or concrete – it works well with the fountain and who ever put this together by either acquiring the base, or found the base, or probably had it made for the fountain did an awesome job of getting the correct style. The kneeling maiden and the bowl of the fountain are 100% original to each other and again those two pieces are sitting on an associated base which does extreme justice to the overall water fountain. It measures Approximately 46” at highest with a diameter of 24”.
