Austrian Silver Repousse Sugar Box J C Klinkosch

This exquisite sugar box with rich and floral decoration can be dated 1872-1922. It was probably commissioned by a member of an Austrian noble family as it has embossed a monogram with a crown on its bottom. The item was made by J.C.Klinkosch one of the finest Austrian silversmiths of the late 19th century who fullfilled numerous commissions for the Habsburg imperial family. The item is Diana hall marked 800/1000 silver with maker´s mark J.C.K. and eagle.

The sugar box is in perfect condition.
