Authentic Vintage Chanel Gold Plated Medallion Necklace-or Belt

This is an authentic Chanel vintage 1980's gold plated chunky chain medallion necklace, belt.  It is in excellent condition and can be worn as a necklace, choker, or a belt.  The gold plated medallion reads "Chanel, 31 Rue Cambon Paris" and has a 1.25" diameter.  This piece is either 18k or 24k because it was produced in the 1980's. The necklace is 35.75" long.  There is a Chanel signature on the back of the clasp.  (See photo.)  Made in France.

Condition: Excellent

All of the gold plating is in excellent condition.  There is one spot on the Chanel medallion where the gold plating has been chipped off.  (See photo.)   There is a tiny bit of tarnish that is not noticeable on the little clasp that hooks the chain to the medallion.  Because this beautiful piece was produced in the 1980's, the gold plating is most likely 18k or 24k and has maintained its original luster.
