This highly coveted, chunky Chanel Sautoir is in very good to excellent, pre-loved vintage condition, with the Chanel vintage hallmark at the end of the necklace extension chain, as shown. Hand crafted in France, the necklace is comprised of the famous Matelasse 18k gold plated diamond quilting pattern charms (15) of them, and (16) CLEAR crystal Diamante baubles (the back side of the Diamantes finished in the Matelasse pattern also), all hand crafted, rosary style, and finished with the signature over sized springring clasp.

This amazing Chanel necklace measures approximately 31 inches without the 3.5 inch extension chain, which is designed to drape delicately at the back of the neck. Depending on your neck size, this Sautoir can be worn as a single strand, or doubled around the neck choker style. The Matelasse design and Diamantes offer an eye catching play of the light - and the Diamantes will pick up the colors you are wearing. This is a late 1970's vintage beauty and is truly a collector's piece indeed. Please note, being vintage there will be inevitable surface scratches upon super close inspection.
