This gorgeous, timeless treasure is in a dark forest green calfskin leather, and opens/closes with a flap and hidden snap closure. You also have the optional leather shoulder strap, which gives the bag a 12 inch fall length, when attached. The measurements of this desirable 80's classic are 14 inches long by 8 inches tall by 1.5 inches deep, approximately. There are a few light marks and darkening along the seams on the leather -- please keep in mind this is calf leather, and there is vintage flavor - signs of use; but for its age, the condition is amazing. The flap closure opens to reveal a super clean black leather lining, with the tiny black leather attached kiss-lock coin purse, a zipper pocket, and slot pocket.
