Authentic Hermes Cafe Brown Clemence 35 Cm Birkin

This authentic Hermès 35 cm Birkin is in excellent previously owned condition.   Hermès bags are considered the ultimate luxury item the world over.  Hand stitched by skilled craftsmen, wait lists of a year or more are commonplace.  This particular Birkin is in cafe brown clemence leather; a luscious chocolaty brown. 

 Most Birkins are made in either Togo or Clemence leathers and are extremely difficult to obtain.  Clemence is scratch resistant leather made from the hide of baby bull. It is textured with a wonderful grainy appearance.  The grain is a bit less deep than Togo giving a slight matte effect that is quite lovely.  It maintains the shape of the bag well over time; an excellent leather choice for the Birkin.

  The brown leather on this Birkin is rich and inviting.  The grain shows very well in this color, adding dimension. Palladium hardware is a sophisticated accent. Double rolled handles are carried in hand or at the elbow.  Coordinating chevre (goat skin) lining with one side zippered pocket.  Made in France.  Blind stamped L within a square.
