Most Birkins are made in either Togo or Clemence leather and are extremely difficult to get.  Togo, made from calf leather, is textured and scratch resistant.  It is also somewhat rigid therefore holding and maintaining the shape of the Birkin over time. This is crucial in the 40cm size to prevent over slouching.   Togo is the most popular choice for the Birkin.

Tosca, a lovely raspberry color with blue undertones, is truly special.     Palladium hardware adds a refined accent to the total package. Double rolled handles are carried in hand or at the elbow.  Coordinating chevre (goat skin) lining with one side zippered pocket.  Blind stamped O within a square.  Made in France.
