Authentic Louis Vuitton Pulp Ekender PM Richard Prince Bag

Available for your consideration is an amazing, rare and authentic Louis Vuitton Pulp ekender PM Bag from Louis Vuitton’s Runway Couture Spring 2008 Limited Edition Collection.  Marc Jacobs designed the bag in collaboration with artist Richard Prince.  Prince is one of the most innovative and influential artists to emerge from the United States in recent decades.  He is renowned for his re-appropriations of popular American culture.  The Monogram Pulp canvas deviates from the famous Monogram pattern and LOUIS VUITTON PARIS text with its bright colors that seem to have an unfinished, half-painted look with colors chipping off to reveal the underlying layers.  The bag is highly collectible.

The bag was crafted in France of Louis Vuitton’s Monogram Pulp Canvas with high-quality Italian yellow leather trim and polished golden brass pieces.  The pattern, which is brilliant and colorful, is from the Denim Defile Printempts – ETE 2008 Collection.  The bag measures approximately 8” high x 15” wide x 6” deep.  It secures via a zip top closure with optional Louis Vuitton-engraved padlock.  The double rolled handles have a fall length of approximately 6.5“.  There are shiny brass accents at the base of each handle that are engraved with “LOUIS VUITTON.”  The front of the bag boasts a large zippered pocket that is perfect for easy access to your cellular phone, sunglasses, keys and other essentials.  The bottom of the bag has four Louis Vuitton-engraved metal protective feet for added durability.  The interior of the bag, which is lined with Louis Vuitton signature fine textile fabric, includes a cell phone pocket, multi-function pocket and a large multi-function pocket on the aft interior wall.  On the front of this pocket is a leather tag embossed with the Richard Prince signature and “Louis Vuitton Paris made in France, Defile Printempts - ETE 2008.”

The bag is in good, previously worn condition.  The Monogram Pulp canvas is in excellent condition.  The leather has some light scratches, water marks and soiling.  The handles are moderately soiled.  The piping is chaffed and discolored in some areas, particularly at the corners.  The polished golden hardware has some fine, superficial scratches.  The tags, booklet and dust cover are not available.
