Authentic Rare Louis Vuitton Monogram Serviette Fermoir Briefcase

Available for your consideration is a rare and authentic Louis Vuitton Monogram Serviette Fermoir Vintage Briefcase.  The bag was crafted in France of Louis Vuitton’s Monogram Canvas with natural cowhide leather trim and polished golden brass pieces.  The Serviette Fermoir Briefcase is ideal for professionals and students, as it easily accommodates books, files, documents and other essentials.  Likewise, there is plenty of room for a laptop.  When last available in 2005, the briefcase retailed for $1,780.00.

 

The bag measures approximately 11.81” high x 15.72” wide x 5” deep.  The comfortable rolled leather handle has a fall length of approximately 2.5”.  The bag secures via a front strap closure with Louis Vuitton LV-engraved S-lock.  The hinged interior of the bag, lined with cross grain leather, includes two gusseted compartments, a zip compartment and a D-ring for attaching keys or an accessory.  The bag is in fair to very good, pre-worn, vintage condition.  The Monogram canvas is in very good condition with the exception of some white color transfer marks and some cracking at the top along the rounded edges (see photograph).  The leather has naturally warmed to a honey color and it is soiled.  The polished golden brass pieces have some fine, superficial scratches.  The tags are not available.  The interior of the bag is very clean.
