Balenciaga ' Le Dix ' Military Jacket * Pants * Vintage

Chic Balenciaga " Le Dix " ensemble or Pants Suit early 1990's.   The fabric is a slate gray, and has a smooth drapey elegant look to it.  Military Inspired jacket trimmed in shimmery silver lurex.  It is crop cut, and snaps up the front with a double row of covered snaps.  It is lined in a silky lining.  Balenciaga was founded by Cristóbal Balenciaga 1914.   He was referred to as "the master of us all" by Christian Dior.

**The finishing touch, of course, is the silver metallic lurex yarn.  This was knit into a cable stitch wide border for the front and the cuffs.  Finished with 2 tassels at the neckline.   

**The pants are softly double pleated.  They zip in front center with a beautifully done hidden zipper (typical of Balenciaga refined details).  They are very slightly tapered, and lined.

**The Le Dix line is Balenciaga's Pret-a-Porter fashion, much like Dior, New York, or Chanel Boutique.

C O N D I T I O N:  Excellent.  

S I Z E:  Top Length:  19", bust area (meant to be a bit oversized) 40", sleeve length:  23"  Pants Length:  inseam measures 29-1/2", wiast:  26", hip area (because of pleating, this is not a fitted measurement) 43".
