Baroque Girandole By Bradley And Hubbard

This beautiful cast brass girandole has all the hallmarks of craftsmanship of this era.  The urn at the top sits on a crest and is supported by two dolphins.  The rectangular, beveled mirror has a pierced surround designed with cartouches.  The two candle receptacles are on pierced arms designed with dashes and dots.  The receptacles have repousse floral and foliate designs.  

The factory mark of Bradley and Hubbard is found on the back of the urn.  The construction of this piece is fantastic - put together with individually cast pieces with screws and bolts.  The candle receptacles may be screwed off.  All the above documents the special quality of the craftsmanship put into this beautiful piece.

This girandole is missing one prism, in excellent condition otherwise.
