	A great 19th century Bennington pottery Cuspidor or commonly called a spittoon Bennington Vermont is famous for this pottery. This cuspidor has a wonderful shape & it is a fairly small size. The overall condition is very good except for a chip at the center hole & above that a hair line & you can see both of these in the main picture. The cuspidor measures 3 ¾“ High x 6 ¾“ diameter.(This cuspidor is part of the collection of the now deceased Mr. Richards from Camden Maine .The Richards were long time antique dealers with they’re shop on Main Street, they were well known for handling very fine country pieces & early lighting.
