	Brass and Glass Chandelier hanging lantern. Fantastic 19th century hanging lantern. The frame is beautifully cased brass and 6 glass panels are original and have a fabulous bevel all the way around. the form is just as naturalistic and free flowing as can be. in the classical design it is hung on a wonderfully ornate brass chain and as you might know this lantern was originally candle burning and at some point in the lat 19th century electrified. It has a fitting inside with the three candle sockets that have been fitted for electricity and those candle sockets have a wonderful ornate design in the casting. this hanging lantern has 6 acorn finials attached to each corner of the glass panels its very difficult these days to find such a spectacular small size authentic hanging lantern such as this Measures: 19"Long x 9"Diameter Use any length chain.
