	Gaston Roullet (French, 1872-1934) "Breton Lighthouse near Dinard an exceptional aquarelle of the Brittany Coast. This is a wonderful opportunity to acquire a great work by the well known and prolific Roullet. Current auction prices are in the five digits. This water color is a masterful French Impressionist work, with great style as well as investment potential. Roullet was the Official Marine Painter for "Monde Illustre" a late 19th century major French magazine. Student of Jules Noël he received the coveted "Chevalier de la Legion d'Honneur" in 1895. He travelled extensively throughout the world, his fine works are in many galleries, including the Boston Museum of Arts. One of his cover illustrations of "MONDE ILLUSTRE is shown...Roullet painted in a variety of media as well as a master of the etching.
