Bronze Birds Chandelier West Indies Trade

The most stunning & rare 19th century chandelier. It is all in bronze and just as fantastic as can be.  It has an extreme amount of naturalistic flowing movement.  The frame resembles a tree trunk that has branches covered in leaves with full bodied birds perched here and there.  The chandelier was original gas burning which has since been fitted for electricity.  It had three gas jets underneath which are missing.  The shades are nice white opal with an applied ruffled rim.  The shades are in a nice bell shape which completes the chandelier completely  My feeling is that it was most likely made in France in the 19th century and made for the West Indies trade market.  It is very unusual –  I have never ever seen another one like it.  There is so much detail.  It truly is amazing – what a masterpiece  It is a unique and unusual lighting device.  The pictures don’t do it justice – If you like  it from these pictures then you will die when you see it in person  The chandelier measures approx. 57”h (to the top of the canopy) x 39” at widest with the shades measuring 7 5/8” in diameter.Striving For ExcellenceIt isn’t brilliance or just getting the breaks,It is consistent attention to & honest respect for the Customer.
