Bronze Mounted Porcelain Jardeniere 1800s

Mounted Chinese export Jardinière. Quite the exquisite Jardinière here it has the most unusual mounting. The center bowl is blue and white porcelain in a very delicate design with birds and flowers and very tiny flowers that cover the entire surface of the bowl. The bronze mounting is exceptional it is so highly detailed it has an unusual top that is in four sections as I hope you can see: this is what leads me to believe that this is a Jardinière flower centerpiece. It has a stylized finial on the top and for the handles it has a huge lions head with a ring through his mouth. The bronze is very mellow and rich and the inside of the porcelain bowl has a full inset bronze liner. I suspect that this dates to the early to middle 1800’s and the condition is very, very good
