C1930 Peasant Style Hnd Embroidered Dress * Soft Pastels

A Breath of Springtime hand embroidered Peasant Style Dress c1930.  Deco Boho Ethnic Chic!  Lightweight Sheer cotton with very finely done hand embroidery in pastel tones.  The body of the dress is a delicate peach/apricot color.  Hand smocking at the waist and shoulders which gives it the fullness and also fit.  Fluttery open sleeves

**It is a semi sheer muslin.  We show it without a slip... and in one photo with a peachy apricot tone shorter slip.  You might also like the look with an ivory slip.  The deep FITTED and stretchy smocked waist area which follows the female form both above and the hips...is exceptional.  This detail will definitely turn heads as it is incredibly flattering.  The shoulder area is smocked also. 

**The masterfully hand embroidered details are in fresh clear spring colors....blues, turquoise, greens, pinks, yellows, whites, corals, rosy reds.   Floral motif...although slightly abstract.  Features cutwork, and padded satin stitch.  The back of the dress bodice has beautiful top stitching.

C O N D I T I O N:  Excellent.  No flaws worth noting.

S I Z E:  Length:  51-1/2", waist unstretched 25-1/2"- 29 (maybe a bit more), bust area is approx 36".  Our mannequin has a 25" waist...this is to use as a gauge.
