A very early Antique Capodimonte Italian porcelain gilt mounted figural casket dresser box, 18th century. Beautifully hand painted, each panel of the box portrays various scenes with raised relief puttis or cherubs. The bottom is marked with the Capodimonte mark, a blue N under a crown, the marking of Naples produced in 1771 to 1834. Please click images to see enlargement of the box and mark. A truly early Capodimonte porcelain box. Condition: excellent, no chips, cracks, repairs, or restorations. Measurements: 3.5" by 3.5" by 1.5" height.
