	A super china cabinet. Dating from the 1880’s in a rich brown mahogany. It is an unusual cabinet being in a classical design. Across the top is acanthus leaf carved crown, on the top corners of the door is an applied bellflower spray. The front door has a flat very heavy beveled glass & each side panel of the cabinet is a beveled bow panel. The beveling work is exceptional this cabinet has a mirror back & 4 glass shelves with nice beveled edges. The shelves measure 12 ½”deep.Ok back to the outside of the cabinet - the surface needs a bit of cleaning & polishing. It appears that the cabinet had a heavy dark varnish that the former owner tried to remove ,so in the pictures you can see remnants of some dark varnish that still needs to be cleaned up a bit more & then a great polish ,all very minor things As you can see in the close up photos the color & grain of the mahogany is really quite exceptional & I can really visualize this with a great surface polish,This is a massive cabinet measuring 68” wide x 75 ½” High x 15 ½” deep.
