This is a fantastic example of fine 19th century Chinese Celadon .This 8 ½" plate is superbly decorated in highly raised enamels .A bird of paradise, a beetle, a butterfly & lots of fruits’ & flowers. The perfect celadon green background sets off the amazing mix of naturalistic colors in the enamels. This plate also has a gold gilt edge .This plate is in very good condition.
