	Chinese Export Rose Medallion Bowl Porcelain, Pottery: Export Porcelain: Early Rose Medallion
	A Very Beautiful Chinese Export Bowl, With "Squared" Rim, and Lobbed Corners, Circa 1845 to 1850 in an Early Run of the Pattern know as "Rose Medallion" The fine White Porcelain Body is Decorated with a Rare Border of Cobalt Blue, with reserves decorated with scenes of stylized Birds among overblown Roses and Vines. The Lower body of the Bowl is decorated with finely executed scenes of Mandarins in Leisurely Pursuits in a Courtyard of a Garden Pavilion. A single Rose Blossom decorates the Center Interior of the Bowl. Fine gilt highlights throughout, subtle and elegant. In Excellent Condition. Retails at $5,500 Malleries Price $3,750
