Classical Enameled Miniture Trinket Box

Green gold enameled box this wonderful little box is an amazing totally French classical design it is a very unusual design and shape the little box on green enamel in a checkerboard fashion with a lot of guilt brass trimming sits on four ball feet has a simple clasp the interior still has the original salmon silk lining which is totally rotted and that’s part of the charm or you can actually replace it this box was in the property of the Hannibal Hamlin and Bangor theological seminary estate they stated that this was in the personal property of Hannibal Hamlin family. This box dates what I believe from the very early 1800’s the condition is a little bit worn as I hope you can see in the pictures but still a very rare specimen for the collector of these miniature boxes
