| A Beautiful Square Dish, Circa 1795 to 1810, From the Coalport Porcelain Factory of England, in the "Money Tree" Pattern. Bright Cobalt Blue on a pure white Soft Paste Porcelain ground is complimented by other Vivid Enameled Colors and accented by Fine Gilt Decoration. This Popular pattern is a direct interpretation of the Imari patterns imported from Japan that were so Wildly popular during Regency England. Having been considered a "Status Symbol" across Europe and in America, Examples of this pattern can be found at Buckingham Palace, Windsor, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Nelson Rockefeller Collection. This Large and Impressive Platter is in Excellent Condition, and shows no signs of wear, as it must have been used as a display item in a cabinet or on a sideboard.
