	This very old hickory presentation Colonial New England ladle or water dipper may well have been given as as an esteemed token gift to an early President or Colonial governor! Unique long swept handle and beautifully balanced, obviously made by a master carver of the times. One of the finest pieces of Early American woodworking that I have ever seen, it really belongs in a museum.
	Measurements: 12" long, The well is 3" diameter and 2 1/4" deep.
