Exceptional and rare antique French Daum Nancy glass is the best and most famous French cameo glass of the Art Nouveau period from late 19th to early 20th century. The glass was called cameo glass because it was built up with different colored layers and cut back with acid to reveal beautiful floral or scenic designs. This Daum Nancy vase is adorned with acid-cut cameo poppy motifs with a beautiful color combination of browns, reddish orange and green. Measurements are 5 1/2" H by 6" wide, rim of the cameo glass vase is 3". In excellent condition, no chips or cracks. An excellent addition for your art glass collection. Signed Daum Nancy France.
