	Early 18th Century Italian Commode With Lift Top Furniture: Commode, Chest
	This is an exceptional early 18th Century Italian commode in walnut and having shaped raised panels on the front of the drawers in burr walnut. The distinctive feature to this commode is the top lifts to expose a storage compartment. Notice the iron hinges to the underside of the lid. Everything is original to the piece. The one thing in my mind which sets this piece apart is the patina! This has a warm worn patina that really makes this piece special. C.1740-1760. Measurements: 63"w x 25"d x 41"t
