		elegant sterling silver footed bowl. It rests on four quaint feet which are very classical in design and intricately done. The rim of the bowl is also classical in design. It has very free flowing scrolls embracing the entire rim making the overall appearance of the bowl very elegant and sophisticated. It has a fabulous shape and the bowl itself is very deep with high walls. It is monogrammed on the front in very fancy script which reads – MCC. The bowl has a few impressed marks underneath. It reads – Sterling (with an impressed stamp above that – that I can’t make out). Below that it reads Maynard C. Potter then what looks like a small hour glass and the letter and number 7S. Below that there is a fancy backwards E. Circa late 19th century. There are a few dents in the base of the bowl – approx three or four. They aren’t unsightly in the least. The rest of the bowl is in very good condition. This would make a fabulous wedding gift – I can’t stress enough who appealing and sophisticated this little treasure is! It measures 5 5/8” at widest x 3 1/8” at highest x 4 5/8” deepest.
